Inspired by the sail of an Arabian dhow and dominating the Jumeira coastline, Burj Al-Arab is without doubt on of the world's most spectacular hotels and a masterpiece of architectural design. It stands on a man-made island located 300 metres from the mainland to which it is linked by a causeway. At 320 metres high it is the world's tallest hotel building. The interior features a dynamic atrium dominated by a sail-like façade, white by day and a canvas of spectacular light displays at night. Interior décor features marble, hardwoods and gold in profusion. |
